The Gilbert House Childrens Museum

Becca and Makayla joined DJ's Childcare (Nana) at the Gilbert House today. We had a great time playing with all the fun stuff and between rain showers we even got to play on the huge play structure.




There is one room at the Gilbert House that is full of BUBBLES! Makayla, Ben, Katy, and Gabe had a blast making bubbles.

Saturday Nana and Papa came down and we went for a bike ride on a new trail. It ended up at a park with a lake so we took time to feed the ducks.

32 Weeks Along.

32 Weeks!! I can't believe it. 8 weeks to go until baby should join us.

Michael has 6 weeks of academy left! We are both ready for that to be over. Things are going good though. He is doing really well with the classroom part, tests etc. And things should get a little easier on the physical side of things. His knee is healing but still causes some problems. He is just so happy to have reached that middle week. He had mid-terms this week, so that is over with!!

Afternoon Bike Ride

Michael had a study group to attend on Sunday so Makayla and I went for a bike ride with Nana and Papa. The afternoon was perfect for a ride, as it was the only time this week that it has not rained. We rode about 6 miles which would normally be no problem. I was quick to realize that the extra weight on my bike between baby and Makayla was more of a challenge than I imagined. :o)

Easter Egg Hunt

We took Makayla to an Easter Egg Hunt this morning. She had a great time!! Her age group was 2-3 year olds and they had sooooo many eggs out in the field, she filled her whole bucket! Thankfully, it stopped raining just in time for the egg hunt.

A Little Progress. . . .

Makayla and mom made a little more progress in the baby room. We finished painting, now we just need to move in some furniture, hang some stuff on the walls and help dad finish the cabinet he is building. Then we can start to put blankets, burp rags, diapers and all that fun stuff in their place. Makayla sure loves to paint!
