That time again. . .

Today we took advantage of the dry weather and headed to the pumpkin patch. It was a bit chilly but there was plenty to do to warm us up. It was great!! There was really a lot for the kids to do and after all the fun we still got to go on a hay ride out to get our pumpkins.

Time for some Inside Fun

Today we headed to Burger King on Barbur for some indoor fun. Makayla's friends, Adrainne, and Katy joined us along with Nana's daycare kids.

Big Boy, Kaden

Mooo!!

Kaden is getting so big. He is 15 1/2 months old. He seems so grown up these days. Today he was dressed in a simple outfit, jeans and thermal shirt, and he looked like such a little boy. He is so funny and smart! He has a pretty good vocabulary already. . . I am not sure all could interpet what he says but he really knows what he is saying.
Kaden says: Ball, Boz (the name of a character in his book), Dog, a-ya (Kayla), Mama, Dada, Drink, thank you, please, cheese (while he poses for the camera), that, Whee, hi, bye-bye, and I am sure I am missing a few.

Makayla's 1st day of Pre-school

Here are some pictures of Makayla's 1st day of school.
We waited until Makayla was 4 to send her to preschool. Not really cause she wasn't ready, but more cause we weren't. And as her first day approached I began to realize that I still wasn't ready. Sure there is some nice one on one time with Kaden while she is in class but I don't want to acknowledge that she is so grown up. Next year she will be in REAL school. I am not sure I like that.
She loves going to school. I hear the drama of a 4 year old every day when we pick her up! I never knew! She is so funny!

Crater Lake

Michael and I took off for two day without the kids for our anniversary this year. We weren't really sure until the morning we left where we were going to go but we through our camping stuff in the car and headed out. We ended up at Crater Lake. I had never been and Michael had only seen it once so we took advantage of a beautiful weekend. We had a really good time. The weather was awesome!

Oregon State Fair

Digging for SeashellsMaking wood name tags.
The reptile exhibit was a big hit. Makayla was fascinated!! She LOVED the snake, she really wanted to hold it. Eeekk!
Annika was a little shy at first. . . but once she started petting it she couldn't get enough. She kept going back to pet the big yellow snake.
The Dragon Lizard was pretty cool.
At the end of the day we let the girls pick a couple rides to go on. They had a blast.
