The Guts

Michael has been working sun up to sun down to get this project done. We are finally to the point of sheetrock but there are so many little things he had to do first that I think he feels like a dog chasing his tail. He did all the framing, plumbing, electrical, duct work, . . . and everything else I am not thinking of right now! The sheetrockers showed up last Friday to get started on our job so Michael has been trying to stay one step ahead of them the whole way, they will be here again tomorrow so he is sure to come straight home from work and get going on making sure he is prepared for their next task.

Master bath, the big blank wall is where the vanity will go.

The corner of the tub, space where walk in tile shower will be and then on the other side of the wall will be the walk in closet.

The left wall is the walk in closet and the the space straight ahead will be a linen closet.

**Downstairs**
This is looking into the bathroom and office room. We bumped both out 5 feet so that we could use the office as a spare room if need be. . . but really it is going to be a nice craft room for ME and I guess I will share some office space with Michael. :o) We bumped out the bath too so that we could have a full bath downstairs. This would work nice when we have company so that they can have a room and bath all on the main level, but also will be nice to clean up kids at the end of the day.
The office.

**Downstairs (The basement)**
The basement was completely unfinished when we bought the house, we plan to leave it that way for a while. . . . . but. . .. since contractors are needing the work, you can't really pass up having them do more than you originally anticipated. So we decided to at least have them finish the sheetrock down there and they will also prime and texture. . .. So, Michael went to town framing a "special room" for the kids.
