Birthday Bash!

I can't believe it but Makayla turned 3 yesterday! Yikes! This little princess had quite the ball at our house. Lots of friends and family turned out to celebrate with us. Aside from the crazy flys that think they now live in my house I think we all survived the craziness. A small price to pay for one very happy little girl.

We had a great time, and thank all who joined us.

A Viewfinder!! Do you see this picture?

And the party continues . . . . . will the fun never end?? Makayla's cousin, Quinn, and friend Sydney were able to spend the night after the party. The girls had a blast together, and I am pretty sure Michael did too. >smile<

Camping at Waterloo

Our favorite thing to do. . . camping in the rain. We joined Michael's family at Waterloo where they were camping this last weekend. We chose not to stay the nights with them for a couple reasons, one being it was raining, and two, we weren't ready for tent camping with Kaden. Thankfully it only rained Friday evening, the rest of the weekend turned out pretty nice.

Time for some smores!

The second day of camping the girls had some fun making tie-dye shirts. Mema brought all the stuff to do them, so we put the gloves on and got creative.

Kaden enjoyed his camping trip. He got lots of cuddle time with all the family that was around.

The last day camping we spent some time down at the river. The kids collected rocks while we played with the dogs.

Kaden's First Camping Trip

We went to Oxbow Park on the Sandy River, to camp for the weekend with my parents and niece Katrina. My parents recently bought a used trailer so we had to try it out. We did some bike riding, rafting down the river and hung out on the beach. It was a very warm weekend so it was nice to be right on the river. Kaden did great during the days but we did have a couple rough nights. He loved being outdoors and would just lay looking up at the trees.

Our Babysitters

Makayla had her friend Katy come over for a sleepover last week. They did a great job taking care of Kaden. ~Two little mommies~
