Saying Goodbye!

After 5 1/2 years of living and 7 long months of waiting we finally sold our house!

Bitter-Sweet. . . . .

We are really going to miss our friends and neighbors. . . and of course our yard. But we are very excited to be closer to family.

We send out a huge thanks to everyone who helped us move. Especially the "Big Stuff". What a chore.

Our Getaway

We spent last week up in Welches. We didn't get out to do a whole lot cause the weather was kind of crummy but we did have a great time. We did a lot of swimming, some biking, nature walks, golf ball hunting and even some relaxing.
We stayed at Whispering Woods Resort which is right on the golf course. . . that's why we like to go for golf ball hunts. It is like Easter Egg hunting!!
Makayla and Kaden had a great time swimming. And we had a fun time playing with the underwater camera with Nana and Papa.

We went to a the Rainbow Trout Farm and took Makayla fishing. She did great and caught some nice dinner!! Although, Kaden REALLY enjoyed the fish. He was so funny!!

Field Trip

My mom and I took the kids to the Children's Museum on Friday. We took Sarah's 4, my 2 and also some daycare kids. What a fun place to go for really all ages.

We started with the face painting. . . . they painted their own faces.

There is a room for 2 and under which Kaden loved.

The older kids loved getting creative in the "Garage".

Jonathan built a robot.

Makayla and Katy doctored eachother.

And they all spent a lot of time shopping.

~~There was so much to do I can't fit it all on the blog~~

The kids played in the water room, put on a show in the theater room, played at the train table, made clay creations, and so much more.

Ben, Zach, and Katy Play at the water table.

Kaden is fascinated with the water.

Here is a picture of Makayla with her master piece. It's an Elephant, in case you were wondering. :o)
