Another Great Day

Another great day to go to the park!!

Makayla and Katy had a great time on the tire swing.

Kaden crawled around in the grass for the first time. He thought it was neat, of course he had to pick up everything he found!

Zoo Adventure

We have had some great sunny weather this last week, so my mom and I decided to take the kids to te Zoo while Michael was working today.

We took Makayla's friend Katy with us for the day.

We had a really great time and the animals all came out to enjoy the sunshine which made our trip even more worth it.

It seems as though there isn't ever enough time to see everything.

Day at the Park

This was Kaden's first trip to the park (without just sitting in the stroller).

He loved the swings!!

Makayla has grown up so much! I just can't believe how big she is. She loves to do the Monkey Bars.

Weekend Getaway

So much snow!!! What a treat.

We had a last minute trip to Welches this last weekend. Michael had a day off this last Saturday and we had tried to make plans to head up towards Mt. Hood but they didn't work out. Well at the last minute (Thursday night) we got a call from my parents condo saying that they had a cancelation and wanted to know if we wanted to stay at the condo for the weekend. It was perfect!! We had a two bedroom two bath condo so we invited my parents to stay the weekend with us. Well it turned out that dad got really sick on Friday so he stayed at home for the weekend. Some of Michael's family were going to meet us on the Mt. for some sledding and dinner on Saturday but since we had the room, they stayed the night too so we enjoyed a great weekend of playing in the snow.

We couldn't believe the amount of snow there was in Welche's. Michael and I have stayed up there many times all throughout the years and have never seen that much snow at that low elevation. Usually we have a hard time finding a good place to sled because there isn't enough snow, well this weekend we had a hard time finding somewhere that didn't have too much snow!!

We finally found a hill and we were able to pack down the snow with not too much trouble. The kids had a blast, well and so did the grown-ups.

Makayla wasn't feeling well off and on throughout the weekend but she still had some fun out in the snow.

After a hard day of playing in the snow we all went for a swim. The condo has an outdoor heated pool and hot tub, which felt so nice after tromping through 3 feet of snow all day.
