It has always been tradition on the Porter side of the family to get our Christmas tree on Thanksgiving weekend. This is a tradition that Michael and I kept with our family, so this last weekend we went tree hunting. We went to the "Tree Patch" as Makayla called it. Why not, if you go get pumpkins from a patch, that's most likely where you would get a tree, right?

It was a very cold day, but we at least saw the sun so it wasn't too cold.

The tree farm we went to has a nice shelter area with hot chocolate, wassel, cookies and popcorn to enjoy and a nice hot wood stove to gather around.
